🌿✨ November 2024 marked the beginning of a beautiful new journey for Carina & Victor Contini of @continibites as they acquired 700 historic olive trees in once-untended land in their their ancestral village of Picinisco! Nestled at 2,300ft in the breathtaking Valle di Comino, their Oliveto is thriving with ancient olives like Itrana and Leccina. 🍈After a year of love and care, including pruning over 300 trees back to health and enriching the soil, they’ve harvested their first five unique batches!
To celebrate this remarkable first year, Victor will host an informal olive oil tasting followed by a light supper and matched wine. Guests will enjoy five exclusive Contini EVOOs, all produced from the family’s Oliveto, along with dishes created to honour this special new ingredient.
